WHO ARE YOU
I am an artist from the Caribbean, specifically the humble island of Curacao. Due to my upbringing, nature and vibrant colors are a recurring theme in my works. I strive to create work encompassing the larger-than-life aspect by constructing bizarre, whimsical, fantastical and unusual phenomena that occur in our environment.
WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS
Animation to me, is the most beautiful form of art, because it is a combination of different artistic practices all combined into one. Music is the language of the soul, illustration is a picture of your imagination, photography is a love affair with life and poetry is literature from the heart. When the amalgamation of all of these thoughts and feelings all come together, it blossoms into something extraordinary. A new emotional journey awaits at the end!
Stories can be told without a single spoken word, no matter what direction it heads in. Anything can be created from scratch while also setting your own boundaries, even if things start to get wild.
While steadily seeking to develop and bolster my techniques and skillsets, I aspire to one day put my tiny island within sights in the animation industry.
